Lost Your Job? You Might Be Able to Temporarily Stop Paying Your Mortgage

If your mortgage is backed by Freddy Mac and you have recently lost your job you might qualify for a loan forbearance for up to one year.  How do you know if your loan is backed by Freddy Mac

All you have to do is call your loan servicer (the entity your are sending your payments to) and ask.  If it is ask your servicer how to apply for a temporary forbearance.
