San Diego High School Students Get New Graduation Requirements
Students attending a high school in the San Diego Unified School District will be required to take ‘career readiness couses’ beginning with Freshman entering in the 2012-2013 school year.
These ‘career readiness courses’ will be aimed at ’career technical’ education which will allow students to obtain some college credit as well as help them work toward a vocational license or certificate.
With so many graduating college students finding themselves jobless I think this is a great idea. Way to go San Diego Unified!
